Please join the Chicago Area Peace Corps Association (CAPCA) and the Chicago Regional Peace Corps Office in commemorating the legacy of all Peace Corps Volunteers who have served around the world since 1961 promoting global peace, friendship and understanding on behalf of the United States.
To honor this milestone, we will dedicate a tree and plaque in Federal Plaza, downtown Chicago, to serve as an enduring tribute to the 5,300 volunteers from the greater Chicago area who have served through the years and all future Peace Corps Volunteers.
