Annual National Day of Action is February 28

Closely coinciding with the March 1 anniversary of President Kennedy’s 1961 Executive Order which established the Peace Corps, the Day of Action is the one time of the year when NPCA calls upon members of the Peace Corps community to take a few minutes out of their busy lives to reach out to members of Congress and express their strong support for the Peace Corps.

Along with phone calls, emails and other communications to Capitol Hill from around the country, the Day of Action is also designed to have a strong contingent of Peace Corps supporters in Washington meeting with members of Congress. For more information on what you can do in support of National Day of Action, visit the NPCA web site.
