HOW TO APPLY

Are you a currently-serving Peace Corps Volunteer from the Chicago area or Northwest Indiana? Do you have a great sustainable project that needs additional support? CAPCA offers financial support to current Peace Corps Volunteers who are working on projects that meet one of PC’s three goals. CAPCA’s Grants Committee reviews proposals on a rolling basis.

Selection Guidelines

  1. CAPCA can only consider and help fund grant proposals that are approved Peace Corps Partnership Program Projects.
  2. CAPCA considers projects of currently serving Chicago area PCVs, including PCVs from both Chicago and the surrounding area (including Northwest Indiana).
  3. CAPCA looks for projects that are sustainable, build capacity, and have strong community involvement.

We would love to hear about strong Chicago area PCV Peace Corps Partnership Projects looking for funding. Please contact us at grants@capca.org. Please explain your connection to the Chicago Area, attach your approved full length PCPP write-up, and let us know the best way to contact you with the questions we will likely have.
