Volunteer Event - Palmer Park Clean-up with My Block My Hood My City

Hi Chicago RPCV friends, 

We'd like to invite you to join CAPCA to support My Block My Hood My City clean up Palmer Park for their M3 Earth Day 2021 event. 

This Earth Day, My Block My Hood My City will be cleaning and gardening at Palmer Park in the Roseland community. As a part of their dedication to "Taking Care of People No Matter What", they're also collecting and distributing air and water filters to communities shouldering the burden of pollution in Chicago.

Come out, volunteer, donate a water filter, and have a bite in celebration of Earth Day 2021 / 10am-1pm / Saturday, April 24th.

If you can't make it, please consider purchasing an air or water filter off their Amazon Wishlist!

If you have a filter that you'd like to donate and are unable to attend the event, please contact Jill Conway at jilljustineconway@gmail.com or by text at 303-681-8663 to coordinate a drop off.

Jill will be wearing a CAPCA shirt while volunteering, so text her to meet up the day of the event! If you have Peace Corps swag, we definitely encourage you to wear it.
