VOLUNTEER FOR WGEP

Calling for volunteers for WGEP's 20th Anniversary Ndajee Celebration on Friday, 5/31/24!

Women's Global Education Project (WGEP) is a women-led, Chicago-based nonprofit that supports girls' education, literacy, and leadership development in rural Senegal and Kenya. Amy Maglio, WGEP's Founder and Executive Director is also a fellow RPCV and served as an Agriculture Specialist in Senegal from 1996-1998.

They are looking for volunteers to assist as greeters, help with attendee check-ins, and support activities such as the silent auction and paddle raise, etc. Their 20th Anniversary Ndajee Celebration will be held at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago on Friday, May 31, 2024. (Dinner is provided.) Please click here for more details about Ndajee 2024. 

They kindly request that all volunteers commit to working from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm on Friday, May 31, to help with event preparation and closing. 

Additionally, all volunteers are highly encouraged to attend a virtual training session on Wednesday, May 29, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Volunteer hour verifications can be completed upon request.
